Service Description

While it is healthy for many of us to build physical strength in our outer bodies with heart-pumping, sweaty moves - traditional fitness-based classes tend to rely on competition, overexertion, and aggression as motivation. But, the truth is that true strength is built not just in our physical body but also in the mind and soul. The class will bravely explore the balance between building muscular strength and stamina with compassion and sweetness. Expect activating breath practices, vinyasa-style rhythmic movements (with or without added resistance), mindful muscular toning, and plenty of space to nourish yourself in reflective stillness. This energetic but accessible experience will help you develop a greater sense of self-awareness, strength, balance, and flexibility and ultimately provide you with a direct experience of Prana - or life energy. LOGISTICS: This 12-class* series takes place over 8 weeks between January 10th - February 28th. Attend as many classes as you want! All classes are taught in the studio and via live stream over Zoom. - 8 weekly classes on Wednesdays from 12 PM - 12:45 PM starting January 10th - 4 biweekly classes every other Thursday from 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM starting January 11th **Please note that when you join this program - you will be automatically signed up for all 12 classes. Feel free to attend as many classes that work for your schedule. Livestream meeting links will be sent to you via email in advance and recordings will be available for viewing for 7 days after each live class. Advocate for what you need and remember, you are your best teacher.

Cancellation Policy

Zia Yoga and Wellness, has a 6-hour class cancellation policy. A full session fee will be charged for cancellations with less than 6-hours advance notice. Clients with Unlimited Memberships will automatically be charged a late cancellation fee of $20 to the credit card on file in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
