Member Services Team Description
The Member Services team works magic behind the scenes to keep Zia running smoothly. We support leaders and teaching across the company and help our clients unlock their potential by prioritizing and anticipating needs even before they arise. We shine under pressure and create order from chaos. We serve as the backbone of the organization’s day-to-day functions - supporting the fast-paced, collaborative community that defines Zia’s culture with everything from providing exceptional customer service to marketing, networking, and branding activities to expand and diversify our service offerings and clientele. Role Description
Zia seeks a detail-oriented member services team member/front desk staff to support our founder and director of leadership, teaching teams, and member services manager. Our Member Services Team Members are the glue that holds everything together - from first impressions with clients to enrolling our clients in what is possible for themselves and their lives; you will have the opportunity to participate in various rewarding and strategic tasks. This person is humble and will be resourceful in building strong relationships with our clients and team, making a point to be available and approachable to everyone. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with passionate team members focused on quality and execution. Position Type
Part Time, Non Exempt. About 6-8 hours per week, evenings Monday - Thursday.
Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for clients during shift, attending to customer and studio needs, including light cleaning and organizational tasks.

Assist new students and members during onboarding, including giving studio tours, troubleshooting online sign-up issues, and follow-up communication.

Accurately track and maintain qualitative and quantitative insights on clients and their experiences throughout the client journey, reporting key financial indicators to the Management Team.

Support studio brand development by supporting community outreach and social justice efforts. Participates in special events such as health fairs, community gatherings, etc., as a studio representative as needed.

Strong Google calendar/e-mail/doc skills.

This role requires a Federal Criminal Background check and Pennsylvania State Child Abuse Clearances.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in retail, food service, wellness, healthcare, or other customer-focused working environment.

Experience handling inquiries and providing client support, including effectively articulating offers and services, answering questions, and follow-through.

Experience with Google Workspace and tools for scheduling and client management.
Compensation
$17-$18 USD / hour plus sales-based commission eligible after 90 days of employment.
The range listed above is the expected hourly pay for this role, subject to change.
Salary is just one component of Zia’s total compensation package. Additional perks include annual profit sharing, complimentary unlimited studio and digital yoga classes for you and a household member, and continuing education opportunities paid for by the studio.
