Yoga for Tweens + Teens

This 6-week, one-on-one private class is designed for young people (grades 5th - 8th) who are experiencing stress, anxiety, or other coming-of-age struggles. 

Our Yoga for Tweens + Teen Program is a 6-week, private class series designed by educators, children's yoga specialists, and mental health practitioners to help your tween or teen ...

  • Deepen their mind and body connection and learn simple self-regulation tools for times of stress.

  • Increase their self-worth and strength and develop a positive body and self-image.

  • Learn basic Yoga asana (postures) and the foundations for building a lifelong daily home practice.

  • Find their authentic voice, learn how to set clear personal boundaries, and feel comfortable in their authentic self-expression.

 

Each 50-minute class includes grounding asana practices, breathing exercises, meditation, self-reflection through journaling, and guided conversation with one of our specially trained Youth Yoga Guides.

Logistics:

 

  • This program is suitable for tweens and teens between the ages of 9 - 17 years of age.

  • Private sessions are 50 minutes in length and scheduled at our studio outside of regular weekly class times.

  • After your intake, we'll pair you with a teacher who is best suited for your specific goals, needs, and schedule. You can also request a specific teacher from our team.

  • We strongly encourage you to book a series of privates (6-12 at a time) to take place at least once a week so that you can experience your personal progress and keep up with your practice.

 

Investment:

  • Single Session: $118

  • 6 sessions, paid weekly: Autopay $97/ week for 6 weeks

  • 6 sessions, pay in full: $522 (save $60)

Other things to know

 

Why teach children yoga?

Studies show that children who participate in yoga have higher emotional regulation, and empathy skills and report less stress, anxiety and overwhelm in their lives as they grow older.

What if I can't make all 6 classes? 

For private sessions, you will work with your child's teacher to coordinate the timing of all 6-classes within 2 months of your start date.

What should my child bring to class? 

We provide yoga mats and props for all private sessions, however, you are also welcome to bring your own. Send your child with a filled water, a journal or notebook, and something to write with. They should dress in comfortable clothes.

​

Please note that all private session, class, and series purchases are non-refundable.

This policy allows us to pay our teaching staff for the time and expertise and thus we are unable to make any exceptions, medical or otherwise and thank you in advance for honoring this policy.
