Service Description

Yin Yoga creates space to quiet the mind and balance the nervous system towards wellness through a series of longer-held poses designed to stretch the connective tissues helping us to relax into the deepest layers of the body. Things to know: Yin with Zia is primarily a floor-based movement practice. Students should expect seated and reclined postures that at times may include flexion in the knee and hips and some weight bearing on hands and knees. Options are always offered focusing on intention, safe alignment, and accessibility with the use of props. Ideal for a range of abilities and mobilities, those with an existing injury or health concern or who are newer to yoga, and anyone who wants to deepen their experience of a physical and spiritual practice. No experience is necessary. Here at Zia, we lead in a way that encourages you to advocate for yourself; to reach inside your soul, and find your inner strength. Be mindful of physical sensations and navigate your edge with curiosity. Distinguish discomfort from feeling unsafe. Let your teacher know if something feels painful or weird. Advocate for what you need and remember, you are your best teacher.

Cancellation Policy

Zia Yoga and Wellness, has a 6-hour class cancellation policy. A full session fee will be charged for cancellations with less than 6-hours advance notice. Clients with Unlimited Memberships will automatically be charged a late cancellation fee of $20 to the credit card on file in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
