This class is a safe space for birthing parents of all genders, sexualities, expressions, abilities, bodies, and experience levels.

Why Perinatal Yoga? The short answer is that it works. Studies show that parents who participate in Yoga have better birth outcomes and report less stress, anxiety, and overwhelm in their lives. We

Who is this class for? This inclusive class series is open to anyone on the perinatal journey (preconception through postpartum at any stage) who wants to be part of a supportive and welcoming community. 

​

What will the class be like? Each accessible class will explore Pranayama (breath practice), asana (poses), and meditation techniques to ease stress, build strength, and address common pregnancy and postpartum discomforts and postnatal recovery. 
 

Can I bring my baby? Yep! Young babies (newborn - crawlers) are welcome to attend class along with their postnatal parents. See the FAQ section below on what to bring with you for class for baby.

Can't make this class? Our teaching team is well-versed in the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum recovery and will show you how to adapt asanas (poses) so you can practice comfortably and safely in any class we offer.

Yoga for Labor + Childbirth

Partner Yoga is a wonderful way to explore and cultivate support, deepen mutual trust, and increase connection during labor and childbirth. Together, we will explore yoga postures, breath practices, and learn helpful tips for labor and childbirth.

What to expect:

 

Partners will learn hands-on techniques to support their pregnant partners both during pregnancy and throughout the childbirth process (even if you're having a planned c-section).

Who is this workshop for? No prior experience with yoga is necessary. This workshop is open to those who are currently pregnant or planning a future pregnancy and their parenting partner, friend, family member, or doula!

What if I can't make all 6 classes in a series?

We know that life and vacations happens and you may know in advance that you need to miss a session. We can pro-rate a 6-class series (for up to 2 missed sessions) with advance notice only. To do this, please email us at info@ziayogawellness.com or text us at (610) 463-0161 with the session dates you will miss and we'll send you a discount code to apply to your series.

What happens if baby comes early, or I'm unable to attend due to medical issues? If you have a medical interruption to your current class series, we will credit your account with your remaining, unused sessions to be applied to a future series or to another pricing option at the studio.

​

Please note class and series purchases are non-refundable. This policy allows us to pay our teaching staff for the time and expertise and thus we are unable to make any exceptions, medical or otherwise and thank you in advance for honoring this policy.

​

What should I bring to class? A yoga mat and a filled water bottle. Additionally, if you're bringing your baby, bring a second blanket to place under them along with anything else you’ll need to keep yourself and baby comfortable during class (e.g. toys, feeding or diapering needs, etc.)

Can't make this series?
